Documents required for course validation
After filling in the form, the student should obtain his/her advisor’s signature and then hand the form in to the FEA Postgraduate Secretariat (SPG-FEA) together with proof of the courses taken (transcript or declaration). The request will be evaluated by the Program Coordinator. After approval, DAC will insert the data into the student’s university transcript.

Chapter VI – Concerning the Use of Studies
Article 44 – Up to the end of the second teaching period after admission, students approved in Postgraduate activities prior to the present admission can request the use of these studies, which, after a detailed analysis of each case by the Postgraduate Commission – CPG of the Unit, will be sent to the Academic Directorate for the required action.
Single paragraph – The Central Postgraduate Commission – CCPG will define the documents that should accompany the request for use forecast in the caput, in the case of activities developed away from UNICAMP.
Article 45 – The use of studies by equivalence may be conceded based on a report from the advisor and approved by the Postgraduate Commission - CPG of the Teaching & Research Unit, so long as the following apply:
I – similarity between programs;
II – compatibility of time load;
§ 1st - For the effect of compatibility of time load, classroom activities will be considered, or others at the discretion of the Advisor.
§ 2nd – The number of credits to be attributed will be defined as from the number of class hours.
§ 3rd – At the discretion of the Postgraduate Commission – CPG, an evaluation exam can be requested in any case.
§ 4th – In the case of equivalence between courses of UNICAMP, determined without carrying out an evaluation, the same will be conceded to all students in the same conditions.
Article 46 – The use of studies without equivalence with activities at UNICAMP may be conceded based on a report by the advisor and approved by the Postgraduate Commission – CPG, so long as the following conditions are complied with:
I – the maximum number of credits to be used will be the total time load of the course at the Institute of origin divided by 15 (fifteen);
II – on conceding the use of studies, the Postgraduate Commission – CPG should declare the number of credits to be recorded in the student’s transcript, it being allowed to fix a number below that forecast in the previous subsection, and also in which section of the curricular structure they should be included;
III – the activities in the classroom will be considered for the effect of computing the number of credits, or others at the discretion of the Advisor.
